Congratulation to Accounting graduate Wang Chengzheng, who commenced his role with the Tax Division at EY's Shanghai office in 2023

Our esteemed senior lecturer, Mr. Simon Lee Siu-po, has been appointed to the newly established Tourism Strategy Committee. This appointment is effective from January 22, 2024, until December 31, 2025. The Committee, chaired by the Secretary for Culture, Sports, and Tourism, has been entrusted with the responsibility of providing strategic advice to the Government and fostering collaboration among various stakeholders in the tourism and related sectors. Its primary objective is to promote the long-term and sustainable development of Hong Kong's tourism industry.

Mr. Andrew Cheng, co-founding director of Cheng & Cheng Limited, generously provided a scholarship to our university for the 2022/23 academic year. In April 2023, two accounting students were awarded this prestigious scholarship.

Eight successful IIDS workshops were held focused on data analytics for quality reporting and effective auditing. The workshops covered a range of topics presented by various experts in the field, exploring the applications of data analytics across accounting and auditing domains.

會計學系2020年畢業生楊心怡（上圖）接受《樹仁簡訊》訪問時表示，2019年9月開課後第一周，學系公布實習科的選修安排。由於她一直想通過實習獲取工作經驗，所以立即提出申請，在參加黃龍德會計師事務所的面試後，於9月中收到該事務所錄取通知，擔任實習生。一星期後，她開始在中環上班，展開為期3個月，每周2天，合計共120小時的實習生涯.....

Congratulations! Our Year 4 student So, Ching Sum Victor has successfully obtained the Third-Class Winner in the EY Young Tax Professional of the Year 2021 (Local Hong Kong Final), held by one of the Big 4 accounting firms, Ernst & Young on April 7, 2021. The prize includes a cash award and a 6-week internship opportunity in the EY tax department.

Our Year 2 student So, Ching Sum Victor and his team members from HKU, HKUST, CUHK, PolyU, CityU have obtained the Champion in Healthy Living Category in the EYAcademy CSR Challenge 2019, held by one of the Big 4 accounting firms, Ernst & Young, on April 16, 2019.
