This programme focuses on whole-person development by having a substantial portion of the programme in inter-related disciplines and liberal arts.

Aims and Objectives of the Programme

The Programme is designed to produce graduates with technical competencies in accounting and good generic skills, and an ability to apply that knowledge to meet the needs of the profession and society of Hong Kong and of China.

The programme aims to:

  1. Provide students with a broad understanding of inter-related business disciplines;
  2. Develop students’ understanding and competence in professional and practical skills of various accounting disciplines and an awareness of ethical issues;
  3. Develop in students the generic skills in communication and team building and critical thinking for problem solving; and
  4. Stimulate students’ interest in and understanding of Chinese culture and develop a whole and balanced personality.
